The MicroLoan Foundation is a UK based charity, providing small loans, basic business training and continuing guidance to groups of women, primarily in sub-Saharan Africa. They lend money to groups of women to help them build sustainable businesses and by provide them with meaningful training and ongoing mentoring support. |
Medecines Sans Frontieres - Medicine without borders. Independent humanitarian medical aid who provide medical aid wherever it is needed regardless of race, religion, sex or politics and also raise awareness of the plight of the people they help.
Motorcycle Outreach - works to introduce effective healthcare delivery in remote areas of developing countries.Effective healthcare in rural areas depends on transport. Vehicles used for this purpose need to be systematically maintained and managed. Motorcycle Outreach assists governmental and non-governmental organisations in this.
Motorcycle Outreach has grown from the vision of the late Simon Milward, a global humanitarian motorcyclist from the UK who championed effective healthcare delivery by motorcycle based upon the successful Riders for Health (RfH) model which is already well established in Africa.
Riders for Health - By ensuring health workers have access to vehicles that never break down Riders for Health is making sure millions of people across Africa receive regular reliable healthcare. My friends Barry and Andrea Coleman run this fantastic charity - please support them and help provide healthcare to the people of Africa who most need it.

My Way Roof Tents - this is the roof tent we went with after long deliberation and it's great! Paul provides a fantastic free fitting service. We have tested the tent in howling gales and torrential rain through Europe and it passed with flying colours!
Natural Mat Company - fabulous self-ventilating mattress (not a slab of foam but a 'proper' mattress), removes condensation build-up and gives a damp free, very comfortable nights sleep. The Airflow Spring system is a slatted bed base providing sprung comfort and additional ventilation.
